Vintage 9kt yellow gold large Italian INRI crucifix pendant by UnoAErre. Elegant openwork design with finely detailed Jesus.
Marked with import marks for Birmingham and "1 AR" for Gori & Zucchi.
The company was founded in 1926 by Carlo Zucchi and Leopoldo Gori and became the first jewellery manufacturing company of Arezzo.
On 2nd April 1934 they received the first registered trademark of the gold industry, 1AR, which in turn evolved into the name of the company: Uno A Erre.
